Throughout the summer, each camper is engaged in a wide range of activities, offering daily opportunities to learn something new. We emphasize a nurturing, non-competitive atmosphere that encourages participation, exploration and feelings of accomplishment.
No matter the age, ability or experience, each camper will experience a sense of success. We provide instruction and guidance, while fostering a true sense of sportsmanship and team spirit.
Our sports program offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, focusing on individual achievement. All sports activities are offered relative to the individual physical readiness of each camper. At Pierce, our sports facilities have been designed to accommodate all ages and skill levels. This age appropriate approach offers our campers maximum success at whatever level of achievement they are at.
Summer at Pierce is more than athletics. Its music and dance, yoga and arts & crafts, rocketry and sculpture… it’s a creative and diverse program that accommodates the broad range of our campers interests and abilities.
Children’s love of rhythm and color, their enthusiasm for creativity, their curiosity, is nurtured by participation in our “Specialty” program here at camp. As we see it, helping children to develop an appreciation for music, dance and the creative arts offers them a source of pleasure to last a lifetime. From singing to circus arts, from choreography to sketching and art, our long list of Specials provides all campers with time for creative expression and personal growth.
