Mini Day
Our Mini-Day Program is perfect for the beginning Pierce camper ages 3 &4.
With a regular morning arrival time, and a 2pm dismissal, this option is almost as popular as our regular full day program for our junior campers. Very close ratios, superb facilities, a warm and nurturing staff and an early childhood recreational curriculum that is second to none. Our Mini Day Program has a limited geographic area as it relates to transportation, so check with our office (516.621.2211) to see if we service your neighborhood.
4X4 Program (Four By Four)
Labeled "the best of both worlds" by our parents, the 4X4 Program provides campers enrolled in our eight year old groups and older the opportunity to enjoy the summer experience in two totally different environments. Campers spend 4 weeks at Pierce Day Camp and the other 4 weeks at Pierce Camp Birchmont. You pick which four weeks are spent where...your choice, first session or second. This has proved to be a very popular option for first time sleep-away campers as it makes the transition from Day to Resident camp a very secure one as friends make the move together.

SCOPE: Senior Campers Off grounds Program Extravaganza
The SCOPE Program has been designed to enhance the curriculum for our Senior and Super Senior campers in order to expand their opportunities here at Pierce. This unique program is comprised of the elements of a traditional camp day as well as a "Trip" program once per week (every Thursday). At Pierce, our programs grow as your children grow! Past trips have included... Splish Splash Water park, The Bronx Zoo, Broadway Plays, Mets Games, Fishing excursions, Medieval Times Jousting/Feast and a whole lot more... Our oldest groups, our Super Seniors have a "Super Trip" each summer. The Super Trips are 2-3 days in duration with an overnight component. Past trips have included... Hershey Park, Great Adventure, Club Getaway, Washington DC and more...
FOCUS Program
Designed as a series of sports mini-camps, our Focus Programs have been wildly popular. Offered to our eight year old groups and older, campers may choose to participate in a particular sport that they would like to focus on. Sport choices include: Baseball, Cheerleading, Golf, Gymnastics or Tennis. All programs are coached by local college and High School coaches.
Horseback Riding
If you are six and up and want to saddle up, Pierce has got the answer for you...
We have developed a wonderful relationship with the picturesque Old Mill Farms in Muttontown of East Norwich. Our horseback riders have the option of riding once or twice per week for a six week period. Each session will be two hours long and includes instruction in animal husbandry. Children will be grouped according to ability, with an average of 4-6 per group. Sign up opportunity for this optional program will be sent your way in the Spring. Tally Ho!

FAST Track Program: Fully Assisted Staff Training
The Fast Track Program is for all campers who have completed 8th or 9th grade.
This program is Pierce’s version of a C.I.T program designed specifically to assist in the transition from camper to staff member. Fast Trackers will be transported to and from camp on Pierce vehicles with door to door service. They will work alongside a professional experienced senior staff member in one of many "Specialty" areas here at camp. Working closely with our Fast Track Supervisor, Fast Trackers will choose what activity areas they would like to gain experience through. Lunch and an afternoon ice cream snack will be provided along with a full insurance coverage. Enrollment in this program will be limited. All applicants must be interviewed by Chris Bagnell, our Field Director who oversees this program. Enrollment opportunity is available at 50% of the current camp tuition rate.
The Pierce Jitney
A Pierce Day Camp Exclusive... For those families that spend their weekends on the beautiful East End of Long Island, Pierce provides luxury bus service every Friday afternoon for its campers. Campers that sign up for the Pierce Jitney will depart every Friday afternoon at 3pm aboard an air conditioned, video &bathroom equipped luxury tour bus. We dispatch one bus to Westhampton, one to Southampton and a third bus to East Hampton. Each vehicle will be staffed by Pierce Day Camp personnel that are equipped with cell phones, snacks and arts &crafts supplies. Sign up will be offered to all in the Spring. See you out East!
