The camp facilities at Pierce are second to none!
Our 27 acre campus is a meticulously groomed estate-like setting offering our campers the finest in recreational and athletic facilities. It has been described to us by parents as a "Country Club" for kids!
The Aquatics complex at Pierce is unrivaled in all of camping. Featuring 7 beautiful pools, including our Olympic Indoor Pool, The Aqua Dome.
Another Pierce exclusive is WATERWORLD, a fully themed on site waterpark/sprayground. This captivating "Rain Forest" full of inter-active dancing water, exciting waterfalls and jet streams creates a breathtaking medley of stunning sights, sounds and activities… To say the least... it’s Wet N Wild!
A beautiful century old Italian mansion is the centerpiece of our campgrounds. It houses our air-conditioned dining hall, kitchen, music rooms, as well as facilities for our junior campers. The Mansion also plays a major role with our school year pre-school programs.
In summer 2007, we opened the brand new CLUBHOUSE at Pierce. This is yet another magnificent addition to the superior physical plant here at camp. The Clubhouse will be utilized in a number of ways, offering our campers and staff the finest camp facilities to be found, bar none! It has over 5100+ square feet of air conditioned indoor space that includes a complete commercial kitchen, professional stage & sound system, with a “back-stage area”, three 50 inch flat screen TV’s, an 8 foot projection screen., and a professional Karaoke unit. It also has some new, high tech, interactive keypad equipment, which will be perfect for excessively hot or rainy day game-show type FUN!
Camp facilities include 9 softball fields, 3 soccer fields, 5 creative playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, an archery range, 12 station low ropes course, volleyball courts, 2 Ga Ga courts, a ball port, a four station bungee trampoline quad, a sand play area, Key West Village, Kids Kourt, a hockey rink with 4 lane track, a dance pavilion, aerobics deck, Bar-B-Q and Food Court area, a 9 station Bank-Shot basketball course, 9 hole Mini Golf course and synthetic putting range, paddle boating pond, petting zoo, outdoor ampi-theatre, music deck, 3 arts & crafts facilities, Imagination Station, an Art/Sketching & Sculpture area, an air-conditioned 4 room infirmary, 16 station air-conditioned iMac computer lab, a rocketry & radio controlled car area, Nature cabin, a greenhouse for Gardening, Pony corral, Karaoke music studio, Studio Row and a whole lot more… In a word, our facilities are AWESOME!
Much like a resident camp, quaint individual group cabins dot our beautiful landscape providing our campers a home base in which to keep their gear and change for swim.
Clean bathrooms and water fountains are located all over camp for the comfort of our campers and staff, while beautiful flowers and well established gardens surround you along with some of Long Island’s most majestic trees.
